Welcome to the online portfolio for Bruce Barr, a graphic designer in Denver, Colorado. I've been an artist in one way or another all my life (just ask my parents about the drawings on the back of my bedroom door), and designing web sites for the past 15 years. Other projects include video production, DVD creation and branding. Design clients include rock bands, labels and merchandisers. I also have experience with voiceovers, sound editing and commercial production.

In addition to being self-taught on most applications, I have a degree in graphic design and multimedia, as well as a degree in broadcasting. My graphic design classes included typography, color theory, art history, etc, while my broadcasting classes included voiceover technique, audio editing and copywriting.

As for design philosophy, my main goal with any project is to capture and release the "soul" of the client. I believe that web sites should be uncluttered, clean, standards-based and download quickly. However, uncluttered and clean does not mean boring, which is why I've hidden several surprises in the site. Have fun and see if you can find them.
